This year’s format for the NYS GeoSpatial Summit is a blended in-person and virtual watch party. Our section is planning to convene at the Dnipro Ukrainian Cultural Center on September 29th from 2 pm to 7 pm and will include dinner for members who are current with their dues ($20 for non-members) and a cash bar.
NYSGIS asked if we could assemble a 5 minute slideshow showcasing what we are working on. Please send us a screenshot of one of your notable projects with brief descriptions that we could add to the presentation.
Come join the WNYGIS community at Chestnut Ridge Park for an afternoon of food, drinks and catching-up with your GIS colleagues.
Food will be provided, bring along whatever you would like to drink (no glass bottles please). While there is plenty of seating inside for everyone, bring your own chairs for outdoor seating.
Register for the event.
Everyone is welcome and we hope to see you there.

The Western New York GIS Users Group would like to invite you to the Buffalo River Fest park for a fun evening of conversation, food, and drink. The Buffalo River Fest Park and its Tewksbury Lodge is situated on the east shore of the Buffalo River along Ohio St. It is a three-acre park hosting year round public access to the Buffalo River and features wonderful views of the historic grain elevators and the remaining industrial powerhouses that called Buffalo home.
The event is open to all. If you want to learn more about the WNY GIS Users Group, GIS/mapping, GIS and related technology, or just want to have a great time, this is the place to be. The Buffalo River Fest Park also features a number of amenities including a boat launch, a wharf, a boardwalk, and an amphitheater.
Sorry folks. Due to low registration, the WNYGIS User Group meeting scheduled for April 11, 2019 @ Sweet_ness 7 Cafe is being canceled. Please mark your calendars for our summer social on August 22.
